Liam Fray of the Courteeners
Manchester four-piece, the Courteeners became indie legends when they released St Jude in 2007They released their Falcon album in February to very expectant press and public. In March, they played Dublin's Academy. What's more lead singer, Liam Fray met up with John to talk everything from working in Fred Perry to supporting Noel Gallagher to his views on Irish crowds.
Dermot Whelan
Prior to his first ever gig in Vicar St, Meteor award winner Dermot Whelan of Dublin's 98 and the Panel fame, gave John a call to tell him all about his experiences in comedy and radio. They chatted about the Toll Trolls' platinum records, the future of the Panel, Dermot's move into acting in his role as a taste bud, and how the key any good stand up career is to completely and utterly ignore anything that your wife suggests.
Dick Valentine
Electric Six is a six-piece Detroit-based band that plays what has been described as a brand of rock music infused with elements of "garage, disco, punk, new wave, and metal." The band met recognition in 2003 with the single "Danger!HighVoltage", and subsequently recorded six fulllength albums. John spoke to lead singer, Dick Valentine in the run up to their show in the Academy
in Dublin in December 2009. Dick talks about the band's videos, changes in line-up, moustaches and gives his own definition on the sound of the band who have been put in every genre you could imagine by the musical press.

Fionn Regan of Bray Co.Wicklow stunned the Music world of Ireland when he ditched his folksie accoustic guitar sound for a more energetic, electric feel with his The End Of History album which he released in early 2010. Many journalists simply jumped to the conclusion that wee Fion was simply copying Dylan by going electric. John
